FAHA Manor
Live in an affordable, caring community where we value kindness and provide the ideal place to balance sustainable living.
Our Mission
A community for people age 62 and older, providing well-maintained affordable housing for independent living.
About the Manor
The F.A.H.A. Manor operates non-profit affordable apartment rentals to qualified low income persons aged 62 or greater.
As a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, living at the Manor means that residents in this community come before profit. The Manor is motivated by its mission, rather than satisfying investors or owners. Income is continually directed towards improving and maintaining the property and providing resident programs.
Residents include those with current Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8/HUD) and CalVet housing assistance.
The Manor property adjoins FAHA Palms, a cooperative apartment for those 55 and more, and the FAHA Heritage Hall along with its recreational facilities.
Managed by a combination of caring staff and Board of Directors, we are committed to providing an attractive and comfortable infrastructure as well as supportive programs that will overall enhance our resident’s lives.
With an uncompromising commitment to diversity and belief in inclusivity, housing is provided regardless of culture, ethnicity or any other identifier. The Manor adheres to state and federal Fair Housing practices.
The Manor was established and built over 35 years ago by a very determined group of first generation Finnish immigrants, FAHA Manor, honors its founders, the Finnish American Home Association.
